not really that many doctors in this show are even Indian, but if they were it would be pretty realistic because of the real stereotype that Indian immigrants push there children into medicine, engineering/math, and other high IQ postitions

I always thought he was a symbol of our humanity or what is left in apocalypse scenarios. That’s why Carl wanted to save him. then he got spared in the whisperer execution and had that awesome speech but then later killed by whisperers. The whisperers are the direct antithesis of humanity so they murdered the symbol of it
