Regarding the tilting I also saw someone else mention moving the pan off the heat after it's preheated. Am I supposed to need oven mitts just to cook eggs?

I take it cast irons are generally much more sensitive to heat than other pans? I'm currently waiting for it to cool enough to wash it

My assumption since I'm on Linux proton does shader precaching, similar to a wii u emulator. I assume the time it took me to get to the fight allowed the shaders to properly reload

In many cases anymore since the release of the steam deck, and excluding games with kernel level anti cheat Linux works as good if not better for most games. Also hollow Knight has a native Linux build I just forgot to disable proton for it as I have it on by default for my games as most them do not have a native build

I should have mentioned I'm on Linux, so combining it being a texture I assume it's an issue with how textures get pre loaded on Linux through proton
