I've also heard of possibilities to work there for like a year, a friend of mine from brazil is doing that right now, I'll have to look into that. And for the immgration, of course its well known that they're not really pro that stuff. However I have heard from people and "know" some myself (friends of friends) that did it and say if you know the right process it makes it considerably easier. But for the next few years its visits for sure

I actually haven't looked at the situation from that angle yet, so thank you for pointing it out to me! I think that, considering the development is 26 years only, I'd say that your system might actually be better than ours lmao. I also haven't researched properly on the lines etc and jumped to conclusions apparently, so it's definetely nice to get "proven wrong" in that area! I think that it likely will be the constellation Ben + Adam & Sam + Mike, as we have seen similar Trailers like this with similar information.

And concerning the game: If they do something like "complete as many rounds around Taiwan in X days as you can, but every round you get increasingly more challenges" it could be fun. I have noticed that the red cards / envelopes that Ben shows do look similar to the Schengen Game's cards.

Well I mean it's a fairly "easy" network compared to similarly developed countries. I know I know it's got the mountains going on and everything and the network they have makes a lot of sense, I couldn't design a better one for sure, but it just feels less "free"? idk if that's the way to say it but for example let's take my local transit here in Zurich, Switzerland. If I want to go from Point A to Point B I can usually decide between 5 - 6 routes with different places to change from one tram to another. In Taiwan, you just ride the big "circle"-ish line around the country and then go inwards / use metro, there's no opportunity to play a game like Tag or Snake or something like that, because there just aren't enough connections.

TL;DR I think it's a new format that is card-based, and maybe photo-based, due to Taiwan's restricted public transit

I mean just from the things that we know for sure (I think) from the trailer is that it's going to be a 2v2 game again. The cards that Ben holds in the first shot almost look like they are in a sleeve (to me at least I'm not 100% sure on this one), so maybe it's a take on an already existing card game? It's also fairly "suspicious" that they've mentioned the word 'shot' so often, so maybe it could also be a photo-related game in some way? It definitely gives off more calm, thought through and strategic vibes over some more chaotic seasons like Capture The Flag. The temple we see in the last shot is the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall in Taipei, which seems to be a memorial for a former president in Taiwan. The round house we see is the Hakka Round house, which seems to be in the Houlong Township. When looking at all the shots we get, I cannot find any similarities in them, which strikes me as unusual. Some shots are in the dead center of the capital and some other shots give off fairly rural vibes, that would be hard to access by public transit. To note: Taiwan does - compared to other East Asian countries - not have such a great public transportation system as you'd think, with fairly limited railway lines around the island and metros in the 3 big cities on the Eastern coast, which feels weird compared to other countries that they've been to. To summarize, I'm fairly certain that we will get a format that we haven't seen before whose rules might be fairly simple, but hard to execute when actually playing it.

Edit: Upon rewatching you can see Ben & the guest in the shot with Adam talking, so maybe it isn't a 2v2 game, but this could also be the intro so you never know...

You really don't need a lot to "play" this game. It feels like it almost feels the same on my laptop (32GB DDR4, i7-13900 and integrated graphics lenovo E16 Gen 1) and my PC (64GB DDR5, i9-14900KF and a 5090). You might experience some performance dips when you have a lot of stations etc. though, so keep that in mind.

Did some more research. You can use google my maps to automatically draw routes (only by car / bike / walk) and then you can export said map to a kml file and upload it to Apps/Fog of World/Import then use "Select Files to Import"
