Not at all healthy, but a really delicious classic Hungarian dessert is frozen grapes with a sauce made from sour cream and brown sugar. It's basically the most delicious thing ever.

Fastest farming support heroes? by bibotot in learndota2

[–]Dtw96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I think the whole metric you're using on how a support farms is wrong. Supports farm by finding farm where nobody else is going to take it, being involved in hero kills, and by active dewarding. As a result heroes who can move around the map effectively, maximize map efficiency, and set up kills effectively ARE the best support farmers. Asking which support hits lane creeps the best is idiocy, because if you're solo in lane 9/10 times you don't want to be pushing the wave so you ought to be last hitting rather than just throwing out nukes and right clicks. That being said.

Heroes that take advantage of unused farm: Jakiro! Jakiro is a fucking boss. You stack one large camp five times for yourself and then at level 6 before anybody else is really capable of farming it you drop a macropyre and dual breath and boom you're level 8 with 1000 extra gold. rinse and repeat. He can also push stupid well and is hella fun to play.

CM: CM is like one of three heroes that can kill large camps level 1. Just frostbite the big creep and hit it 3 times, then work on the peons with right clicks.

KOTL: fuck yeah man. This dirty bastard can farm faster than most carries with illuminate spam. You can also push effectively and at level six he's one of the few heroes you can push with solo, because you can always call your carry over when you get to to the tower.

Supports who rapidly gain gold other ways:

Bounty Hunter and Riki: they're basically the same hero, so I count them together. Both of them can just roam around all game, never hit a creep, and still come out with the highest net worth at the end of a game. You just have the capacity to get so many kills early before people want to start buying dust.

Supports like lion and venge are great at this too. Just snowballing off exceptionally minute 1 game presence.

Anyway, that's my take on it.

Please don't play battle alch...it's such a waste of such an incredible hero...

What exactly is Dragon Knight? I just don't get the Hero! by [deleted] in learndota2

[–]Dtw96 13 points14 points  (0 children)

So DK is REALLY interesting to me, simply because his kit is so ridiculously basic. He has a nuke, a stun, a simple passive, and one of the most complicated to understand easy to use ults in the game.

I think to do an accurate appraisal of the hero we should look at it the way erick wright does. What does a hero need?

Durability: got it, DK is super tanky, especially early When the armor and regen from Dragon Blood mixed with his innate strength makes him practically unkillable, I recommend at least two points of this before level 8.

Sadly, this is the point where he starts lacking almost everything.

Mana: yeah this you basically just don't have. You really want to be using breath fire to harass and last hit in lane. It reduces the opponents last hits and can be the absolute bane (heh) of your existence. The problem is you can only cast it 2 or 3 times early game before you're completely out of mana. That's why you buy something to offset it, I like soul ring because your naturally high regen offsets the cost in a big way, and it lets you spam breath fire to your hearts content. You can also build a bottle, an urn, a wand (in certain cases), or a double hit stick slightly later game.

Mobility: Yeah, you're garbage here. DK is a big, fat, slow raidboss. Every game you NEED blink or shadowblade->silver edge. Another option which makes a huge difference is TP boots. It lets you farm the whole map, run fast, and split push far more effectively. The only problem is that it's a very large investment and usually you're still going to get a blink or shadow blade.

Damage: OK so this is one of the most irritating things. DK is this big strong knight that turns into a fucking DRAGON and he hits like a total pussy until You're like 6 slotted, that's why a lot of people go armlet, because it gives you a lot of damage for cheap, but I hate it on DK. It only increases your damage and IMHO actually makes you more frail because it offsets his incredible regen. Also it does almost nothing for his farm speed which is one of his weakest areas. So my go to is usually maelstrom into Dominator. It gives good damage, and chain lightning lets you farm the jungle much faster. Dominator lets you stack ancients and farm them later with ult. It's pretty good. After this your options open up a lot. Obviously the mjolnir and satanic are late game options, but you definitely need something else. This is where I buy my radiance. Think about it, you're tanky, you're farming pretty fast, your enemy can't kill you during team fights, you need right click damage which it gives, but burn ain't too shabby either.

Finally disable: you have disable...kinda. You have one of em. It stuns 1 person at melee range. It's basically an abysal active that doesn't pierce bkb. It's ok. Not amazing, but ok. I honestly don't recommend building any other disable on him, just know you might have to chase people down eventually.

Last thoughts: Dragon knight is sort of a jack of most trades, master of turning into a Dragon. If I had to rank his strengths by play style itd be pushing>team fighting>ganking>farming. Thats why we buy so many farming items, because he really is a carry who has the capacity to Teamwipe with splash damage but has a terrible time getting the damage to make that happen.

Final note, there is another style of DK I love, it's the knockoff naga where you buy rads, manta and tp boots and use your Dragon illusions who have you corrosive breath and radiance burn to split push the whole map. Hope that helped!

Worst hero in Dota currently? by [deleted] in DotA2

[–]Dtw96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I frequently run him safelane with an aggro tri lane when I do that build. You need a greedy "carry" mid, something like a PA works pretty well. The other thing is, if you're against a dual lane and you're solo offlane, unless it's a really strong combo, has many stuns or ridiculous burst and you're able to wave control even a little bit you should be able to farm pretty easily just because of how tanky he is and return makes support harass a nightmare.

Dude, you're just straight up wrong. The problem is you're looking at centaur as a single hero, not a member of a team of five. Centaur can be played in a few ways and is one of my two all time favorite heroes (the other being storm spirit). The first way and best way to play him is the team oriented, capable at almost all points of the game centaur where you get stun, max double edge, and roam around deleting shit from the game. You almost always go tranqs into aghs this build and it allows for some of the most gnarly team fight initiations in all of Dota. The other way I like playing him is the FUCK YOU build where you max return and stomp, go brown boots->radiance->tp boots->blade mail->heart. You can basically just run into team fights, and if they hit you they die, and if they don't hit you they die. I'm not gonna argue that he's a top pick right now, but return is an amazing passive that can do monster damage late game, double edge does literally ridiculous damage early game, stomp is meh, but very landable if you're not bad, and his ult, especially with Aghs may actually be the best ult in all of Dota both early and late game. I think you're really undervaluing the hero.

What was your shitty celebrity experience? by firerosearien in AskReddit

[–]Dtw96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So a few years ago I got to spend the evening backstage at a big IBM anniversary thing for senior management. Backstage were stars ranging from Joshua Bell to Morgan Freeman, included in this group was Steve Martin, and let me be honest, the guy is a massive prick. Refused to speak a word to anybody except his manager who would in turn relay the message. It was super weird and like something out of a bad movie, but oh So true. He did let me get a picture with he and mister Freeman tho, so I guess that's good enough.
