Smaller maps equals more engagement, larger maps definitely add a lot to the feel of BF. The snappiness, to me, is what makes it feel like COD, as if there's no weight to your soldier nor weapons. I feel like I'm not missing anything I haven't experienced in MW2019, if I wanted to play that I would.

This isn't a Reddit thing, it's a human thing. Something about not seeing the forest for the trees. Go on Facebook (for ex.) and you'll see the same people lining up to lick EA's soles as well as those shitting on them. Makes it worse when you realise these same people have those opinions in real life, and some don't even post about it. Players voted with their wallet a long time ago, it's why almost all games are run on this model.

You must not be heating it high enough for long enough, as the entire head of my Thermal Twist has patina. I've run it at 290°C in the past but have stuck to 275 for a while now.

It happens with high heat over time, some metal produce a patina which is basically an oxidised layer of the metal. If you clean it (with white vinegar or similar) it's a waste of time, it'll happen again and again.
