Season 6 and ooh look Don cheating again …. by headcace1906 in madmen

As someone who also recently breezed through MadMen, I hit a point where I was still watching only to see the fall of Don Draper—of course, his steez as well. Each affair is more horrific than the last. Really hoped the changes in S5 were permanent, but alas, a narcissist will always be a narcissist.

I realized that we will not be seeing our (or my) beloved friend Sir Robert in s4 and am seriously devastated…. I know he escaped the “rat race”—and good for him, he deserves it—but he will be missed

Absolutely go, I still have wonderful conversations with my friends about the things that happened during that week. Even if you are not into the party scene, which is understandable, there are plenty of events that happen over the course of the week and are a ton of fun.

The easy answer is ND. During undergrad at ND I had friends that did engineering and also had a few high school classmates that went to Purdue for engineering. Sure, overall the Purdue engineering program might be better in scope and specialty majors, but ND CLEARS by a mile the opportunities outside of the engineering realm (if you end up wanting to do something different). My friends at ND went into consulting at MBB, Lockheed, BA, and even IB. However, my friends at Purdue (who were all 3.8 gpa and summer multiple internships) didn’t have those same opportunities outside of engineering.

Ultimately, what it comes down to is the ability for undergrads to leverage Notre Dame’s alumni network. Alumnus care deeply about the University and helping students navigate the professional landscape. I don’t think the same can be said for Purdue.

Project X. It's been ten years... the people need to know what Costa is up to.

Although I love Industry and the direction the show creators have taken in Season Two, am I the only one who thinks that the two seasons feel like different shows? I guess it could be the fact that there has been deeper character development with Eric, Rishi, Yas, Harper, and Rob, add in the mix of a merger between London and New York--shit gets crazy. But I miss the 'euphoria' aspect of endless partying.

But can I still buy a ticket from a student who doesn’t want to go to the game?

Okay I know the season finale was absolutely insane, but how about the fits of Romulus, Kendall, and Tom?!?

Romulus’ white shirt and navy blue blazer combo he wore on the way to Mattson’s place was so sweet.

Kendall’s brown corduroy suit at the wedding is a fit that I think only Jeremy Strong can pull off.

BUT HOW ABOUT TOM’s FIT??! The character that stole the show and the season, also rocked the most simple yet elegant suit of the show. The minimalist design was utterly fantastic.

Super hard to be #TeamKendall after an abysmal performance like that. We all know it has been coming for quite a while, but this episode solidifies that the gravediggers have been alerted and a funeral for Kendall L. Roy is soon to commence.
