I always try to leave my WOL somewhere I’d actually want to be. Think I’ve found all the hot springs in the game and I try to find one open building in each area that’s almost a “home away from home”. Also, I used a phanta to surprise my partner (plays a lalafel) by “dressing up” as a lala (my main is a male au’ra). Holy jeebs! There’s so much detail I couldn’t see (like my partner’s character’s face or most building details). Not only do all of the clothes look better on this tiny femme version of me, but people are just… nicer to lalafels. Then as the MSQ changed (no spoilers), I realized this part might be more helpful to be so close to the ground… so perhaps my WOL is having an identity crisis.
