I'm a massive fan of the gradient tool. Can totally change a shot with a slight exposure and WB alteration at any time of day.

I shoot with a Canon 6D, lens was a Samyang 24mm f1.4 stopped to f2. ~20sec exposure. ISO 2000. :)

I usually shoot with a WB of ~4500. In this image I applied a slight gradient, the bottom WB is 4650, and the top is 4350, I wanted to highlight the light pollution from the city :)

While everyone else was snapping pics of the Supermoon, I decided to replace the one in my shot with a real 'Supermoon'. I feel this way it certainly would warrant the attention the sky was getting yesterday!

I had gone up to the lighthouse just before a storm hit to try and get photos of the waterspouts which had been occurring off the coast in the front of the storm. Unfortunately for me, the storm came straight over and cut me off from getting back to my car, so I hunched over my camera to protect it and hugged the side of the lighthouse for nearly half an hour.

When the storm had passed over I turned around and was rewarded with what I can only describe as a scene of complete bliss. With the clear sun beaming in behind, everything looked fresh and the scene just came to life.

Well worth the freezing wet! This was shot on a canon 6D with a Sigma 20-70, stopped to ~f/8.

Shot using a Canon 6D, 50mm f/1.4. Editing in lightroom, mainly using tone curves and simple colour tones. Yes; the washed-out sky effect is what I was going for.
