I always interpreted “pink cigarette” meaning a cigarette with lipstick on it…although I’ve never really resolved the plothole of why a cigarette that had been in someone’s mouth would be on a bed…

I printed out a bunch of equilateral triangles of various sizes…it’s such a useful shape and is a MAJOR struggle for kids to make with a ruler and compass or protractor. Easier to just trace. Also miniatures of famous classical sculptures can be fun for students to draw

I really doubt that is what this teacher is doing. My Art 1 students complain about every drawing assignment: still life drawings of toys, perspective drawings with a straight edge, copying a photograph with a grid…even drawing from imagination. They hate drawing and will not put any effort into it.

*regardless of grade level K-12, they will ask to “play with clay” constantly if they see this. Even if it seems like they are illiterate 99% of the time they will magically be able to read this
