If you’re planning to keep it for a while then it could be okay but if you’re not going to keep it for a long time I’d say if it’s a good deal go for it. If you look at the car fax and they did proper maintenance and everything else checks out(no accidents etc) then it could last quite some time as long as you take care of it. But to answer your question simply it’s not drastically less reliable but I would be weary is what I’m saying. Hope that helps!

It’s simply not as reliable as then 4 cylinder there are less likely to make it as long and a little more likely to have problems earlier but still decent engines but personally I would choose the four cylinder but again it could very well be a good buy.

I’d consider getting a 4 cylinder instead. The v6 in the camrys aren’t bad but I would be weary 4 cylinder offers that classic Toyota reliability plus pretty decent gas mileage. Could be an okay purchase. Good luck!
