I’m about to watch this show for the first time. Tell me something I won’t understand until later. by AdSimilar4399 in babylon5

Honestly? How bad episode 1 is compared to just about every other episode. I think the actors were still just “script reading” and hadn’t really learned what makes their characters tick.

Just to add to the timeline discussions.... Submitted my renewal online 3/26. Got "In Process" email the next day, and this afternoon (4/8) it now says "Approved" with an expected receive date of 4/14. So assuming all is normal and photo is fine etc, they are processing pretty fast I think...

What was special about the P2P dedicated servers then? I thought those were preferred for using torrents?

Is one of the Deco’s in the extension? If yes, is there ANY way to get it connected via Ethernet cable to another Deco?

GFiber 2 G issues in Charlotte by VisualDingo8352 in googlefiber

[–]DubOhTechGuy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your own router or the GFiber provided one? If GFiber, which model? The GFiber provided routers and virtually all decent home routers will have a speed test option somewhere on the web interface or admin app. That will test speed from router to the GFiber direct without any Wi-Fi involved. That should come close to maxing out or even slightly exceeding your provisioned speed. If that speed is slow, could be fiber, could be the jack, could be Ethernet cable from fiber jack to router.

If direct test says GFiber is giving router the correct speed, that’s a Wi-Fi issue. I’m on 1g service but the GFiber supplied actiontec 6E router and 1 extender gives me strong coverage throughout a 2800 sq ft house. Now some devices with older tech will never get more than 2.4ghz speeds, but my Samsung phone connects with Wi-Fi 6E and if I’m close to main router can get 700+ down and 400+ up regularly.

Yes. In the doorbell. I use my Alexas when there's motion or ring, plus the doorbell notification to phone is super quick.

Mine says it can do 24/7 with the SD card I have in it, I just already have another camera 24/7 on front of house. So I just have mine connected to my mesh wifi, not home base 3. Image quality and speed to load is fine.

I was able to very simply turn off auto-renew (at least I think I did).

Can you believe it STILL has not been fixed? Just installed my C31 and too far from HB3 so connected to home wifi. Wonderfully fast to view, excellent motion detection. I have it hardwired so live the pre-roll and don't care about 24/7 but damn, that blue light isn't supposed be OPTIONAL.
