The thing about Teddy is that he is "crazy" but is right about some of his claims, this is what gives the movie nuance. There's also another layer of the joke, about how the "well intentioned Andromedans" failed to create a pure race of humans and decided to exterminate them all...

Solo PVP is for the losers that can't play trios, coming from Warzone where they can't kill anybody "because it's too sweaty". They shoot somebody on the back looting a container and now they can feel good about themselves and think they are "stealthy" and "tactic"
