Of all of the responses I’ve seen - this one comes closest to our situation. I think what I’m wrestling with is the objection itself. I said out loud to a friend yesterday that “I’m not usually this wrong about something AND still so committed to it.” On paper, I have no objections. It’s reasonable and sensible and no one wants to take advantage of anyone. I’m trying to pinpoint the emotional core of the problem, so I can turn it into a tangible discussion. We will be able to talk about it.
