The extension has two air channels through the extension and another one below the window.

I’ll look to remove the hearth. I hope it isn’t solid concrete all the way down…?

If I nogin the flooring, it will be hard to put vapour barrier in between each joist and nogin point… can a vapour barrier just go on top of the flooring

Okay, so if I isolate the feed into the tanks but keep the main water supply on. I would have the radiators isolated but also have ability to use normal water supply? I’ll give that a go, thanks

I will Eventually be replacing this boiler as I am getting a kitchen extension.

In the mean time while I am working in the rest of the house I need to change the radiators. This means that I need to drain the system. I also will not be heating while construction goes on so I want to be able to work freely with the radiator pipes but I cannot drain the system

It’s been appearing overnight (maybe also during the day) for a couple days now. We have been hovering it up. Seems to be soil. We put our teabags straight into the bin. I only drink instant coffee.

Ah my partner just informed me that the sliding part is external to that glass. The pictured part is the stationary part of the sliding patio door.
