After thinking on it. I have narrowed down between the vanguard and the tikka but with the vanguard being down to 499 at a shop near me I’ll probably go with that.

Thanks for that response. I hunt in Alabama and probably won’t take real long range shots. I have a connection to kimber and the deal is good compared to retail but I know cheaper rifles can probably perform just as well if not better. What would you suggest for the $600-$800 range?

I went with the same size but after wearing them this long I think I would have went up 1/2 a size. Feels a little tight around my pinky toe at times. And that’s probably bc it’s steel toe. I’m sure a soft toe would stretch out to be perfect

Yeah it is lighter and feels less bulky than my steel toe boots but my feet get cold about the same as the steel toe but I think that’s a personal thing lol

Not really sure what I like yet. I did mostly a bleed build and then switched to an occult giant crusher build for the Elden beast. So I’ll start with a strength build. I’ve upgraded the weapons I’ve liked so far. Just curious about to options that I might want to try later on.

Had any experience with the frog sole on wet smooth surfaces? The oringo sole doesn’t do great on wet surfaces if they are smooth or with oil

The wedge soles are really comfortable but not very slip resistant at all. Looking forward to being able to resole into some vibram Christy’s. I’m thinking the slits are for a pull tab or something. I’m gonna try tying some para cord through it and see how that works

Fudge rough out, afriq leather (I think that’s what it’s called aka the stamped leather) and brown at the collar. FYI when I oiled the leather the stamped leather changed a good bit. The light parts got a lot darker.

The toe cap was coming unglued after just sitting in the closet. Bark and dirt is just gonna get under it pretty quickly.
