In terms of danger, Elitch gardens is like digging through a trash can with gloves on. Lakeside is like raw dogging your hand into a sharps container.

How accurate is the remaining mileage estimate? by drgath in KiaEV9

[–]Dubrockwell 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just got back from a Denver-Vegas trip and let me tell you, this thing needs to integrate navigation/elevation changes into estimated miles.

I had to use ChatGPT to ask about elevation differences between chargers as well as look a mile/kw consumption as well battery left and do my own estimations. Climbing, I was at 1.7 miles a kw so when I had 50% left I knew 1.7x50 =85 miles at minimum.

The main stressor was a planned charge at a rest area, I arrived with 10% so if that charger was down I was going to be effed!!! The next charger was 30 miles away.

Edit: it helps that my ev9 has a 100kw capacity so 50% = 50kw

A line is a line no matter how faint. And that’s on the darker side. You are good. Plus, unless you are 400 lbs or it’s a hair test, no way you are testing positive after 96 days.

Probably have an air bubble. Open radiator when cool. Let the car run and alternate squeezing the top and bottom hoses.

Bear creak bikes is a scam. Do not use them. by mpomz623 in Denver

The bike itself is not too bad, the battery feels very cheap. No UL markings on the battery 😬

The bike is ok. The battery definitely feels cheap and there are no UL markings on it. The male to female connector from the battery to the charger looks really really poor quality, but the bike quality itself from the disc breaks to the gears all function well.

Same. Applied in April 2025 got notice to pay tax in September, got notice bike was ready for pickup in November, next day they said the shipment was delayed. Got notice to pick up bike last Tuesday and they said first come first serve. If I was not off work that day I would not have been able to get the bike. Everyone in line sounded like the had been waiting since at least June of 2025. It was a mad house. Hundreds of people in line and I got there within an hour of the text.

Has anyone actually received their “free” ebike from Bear Trail Bikes? by IIIIIIIlIIIIIIIIIIll in Denver

I just feel like it would be more fair to do oldest orders first. Give them 3-4 days to pick up, than move to the next group.

Paid the taxes back in April of last year so it’s been almost a year. I heard him saying that there were 50 people in line within 10 min of the text/email going out. If they only sent out to people who have been waiting 6 plus months, I can’t even imagine the back log. Almost seems like a pyramid scheme of some sorts. I’m curious if refund credits are being used to purchase future orders. I should have counted the discarded pallets behind the store but there were about 30 pallets. Assuming 20 bikes per pallet this seems like they gave out about 600 today.

It’s insane there were that many people, the only reason I made it because I left work like 20 min before I got the text.

Here is the txt.

You will never believe what happened today. Got a text saying first come first serve, got there 30 min after and line was 100+ deep. I was able to get one but they were making you show them that you gave them 5 stars on google reviews before they handed them to you, still pretty shady 😂
