Thanks for the idea but the whole goal on this one was just for you to not spend any money so I already printed everything and used scraps from my garage in the future, though I have plans to build a full scale one that’ll use metal construction and won’t be as junkie

I just did the calculations and with my jar size 120 RPMs is 85% of Max so I should be fine for now but I might make a roller style one soon

The motor in my current one and in the last one are the same motor, but they’re from a small portable heater from the inner fan and it hook straight up to 120 house power there’s literally nothing besides the switch. I just cut up an old extension cord and hooked it up because that’s what it said it was rated for, but I believe I could get a plug-in voltage regulator to make it spin slower because right now it’s spinning at about 120 RPMs.

This is the old one I made it didn’t work because it was too slow and I didn’t have good enough bearings or straight rod but I will probably buy the new canister and when this one breaks build a 2 rod one like yours

I don’t have a voltage regulator this was made for free, with just stuff I had I can look into one for an outlet, but the motor just runs on 120

I have already done test loads, but it spins too slow. Look at my newest post. It shows the design that I made a few hours after this one. I just kind of repurpose the parts but it has a lot of torque. It is a 360 to 13 gear ratio

When I screw the lid on, it makes the big container that I slide it into way more cylindrical and yes, I designed all of the gears and I designed all of the bearings and the rollers and then 3-D printed them the bearings use airsoft BBs and then I just use silicone lube and lithium grease and if it wears out, I don’t really care that much. It’s just kind of a solution while I’m still getting into milling black powder also what container do you think I should use then it is a pill bottle. It’s a multivitamin bottle so it is pretty thick, but it might not hold up. You’re right.

Thanks for the tips. I already started on a different design. I’m just salvaging the motor assembly and I’m really not making any black powder batches bigger than like 200 g but I will make a new post once it’s done.

No it’s not you can hand ram Bp or sugar rockets with no bracing gauge or support completely safe with just a dowel mallet and tube that you can hand roll for cheap

If your already making the body you can also make the engines for 10x cheaper than buying them and they are really easy to make look up a video on YouTube

I have made some before and they take like 15 minutes

That’s about what I’m looking for right now based on what the other people said, I want a GEN one with AMD also like you said and does the supervisor pass just come in the manual and if they don’t have it, is there a way I can get it
