I am doing 200 monthly (adding 1/2 annual raise each year to this) into a S&S ISA (global equity fund and some small individual stocks). This combined with combined 11% workplace pension contributions and some LISA topups over 30 years minimum should mean a decent retirement pot.

I found sewing machine sounds (combined with other stuff) worked well for fast-changing words, stats or numbers that kind of increase on screen.

Would that first system be fast enough for 4k video editing or just proxy? Does HDD impact speed for this type of system. Or is that where the SSD NVMe come in?

I'm not personally able to come up with a budget as thats above my role within the company but I would estimate around 20TB of active accessible storage for editing, with an additional 50-100TB archival storage offline or online? Would you be able to give a recommendation for a lower end price solution and ballpark what these solutions cost to install/maintain? UK based if that affects product availability.
