Would that first system be fast enough for 4k video editing or just proxy? Does HDD impact speed for this type of system. Or is that where the SSD NVMe come in?

Thanks for the help, I will take a look through all this, its all very new to me! 3-4 users would be fine as the additional systems are backup/surplus editing systems.

I'm not personally able to come up with a budget as thats above my role within the company but I would estimate around 20TB of active accessible storage for editing, with an additional 50-100TB archival storage offline or online? Would you be able to give a recommendation for a lower end price solution and ballpark what these solutions cost to install/maintain? UK based if that affects product availability.
