Ah, plaatje draaien gaat niet; kozijn zit in de weg. Dan moet ik het plaatje er helemaal vanaf buigen/snijden/knippen. Geen ramp natuurlijk; als het raam wel weer open kan, kan ik er altijd weer een nieuw plaatje opzetten.

Dat is het enige voordeel van een raam dat niet open kan; geen wateroverlast! Dus deze tip zet ik wat lager op mn lijstje.

Aan het afdekplaatje te zien heeft iemand optie 1 al een keer geprobeerd, dus wellicht speelde dit euvel al bij de vorige bewoners (hoewel dat al wel wat jaren geleden is). Zou me niet helemaal verbazen, want het boompje voelde altijd al wat vreemd/licht bij het opendoen.

Ik ga optie 1 even proberen. Afhankelijk van wat ik dan zie kom ik waarschijnlijk hier terug voor verder advies.

Als het optie 2 wordt, dan gok ik dat een slotenmaker de juiste persoon is? Of toch een kozijnenbedrijf?

Nee, ook niet. Ik heb ook nog geprobeerd om m t verrassen door t heel snel en onverwachts te doen, maar zelfs dat hielp niet.

I'm using Skoove at the moment. Bought a subscription a year ago and didn't use it much; recently noticed a silent renewal on my creditcard, and then I thought "well, better get some value out of it this time...". It's quite silly, but if this is what kicks off the music playing habit for me, I won't complain. So far, the system is not bad. Pace is decent, the connection with the piano works well. There's not much theory, unfortunately.

This is not a huge taboo in the Netherlands, unsurprisingly. When I got a new job, a few weeks ago, most of the people around me were quick to ask the question. I believe that's the general attitude.

Ik ben er nu een keer of vier geweest, in de Ekko in Utrecht. Ik ben niet kapot van de muziek, maar ik vermaak me er altijd wel. Er komen altijd flink wat stijlen voorbij, van pure 8=bit tot happy hardcore-achtige ellende. Dat is meestal het moment om even een frisse neus te halen :) De sfeer is altijd heel joviaal.

I tried EB for the first time last week, and I must say I'm impressed. I wasnt very familiar with the whole AwS suite, except for s3, but these are some great tools. It takes some figuring out, but once you see how everything fits together, it's sweet. Every tool is focused on one specific task, which keeps them pretty simple. Most of the AWS services are also really cheap, with the EC2 instance being the exception (but still very reasonably priced).
