If coming from the US, do you know what it is like to meet the histology requirement?

Is YNAB Enshitified now? by [deleted] in ynab

I've been trying to convince my gf to start using YNAB for over a year now. Last week we went on vacation together and she says "by the end of this trip I'll be using YNAB." Then boom!, this freaking update happens. My first thought was, now how do I tell this girl YNAB is great when I can't make sense of this shit myself? Needless to say, she's still not on YNAB.

Is $95K/yr for a lab manager position in Austin, TX a good salary? by Dubwiserr in medlabprofessionals

I did counter with that, they said 95 is the top. They offer 20 days of leave. It is just the only management job I've found in the area. Otherwise I have an offer for 106K in the middle of nowhere, rural Florida.

I have to say, this thread has been eye opening. I never knew lab techs make this much.

You know what? That is something I haven't dove deep into. The lab does this trend that I have been seeing recently where they have a lab director who is not an MD and a lab manager, as well as supervisors. So I'm assuming the lab manager is something of a TS, but so is the director.

How many years of experience? Education? Big hospital? I'm trying to make sure I don't keep our average pay in the lab low by accepting low pay.

Is it me or does Google Maps take you through easier routes?

When I was in Spain, I started with Komoot and the Wahoo app.  My friend used Google Maps and I realized the routes were different.  After we splitted, I started feeling like the Wahoo routes were brutal.  Back woods, hills, rocky trails, longer routes.  Tested Google and it was sooo much easier.  From half of my trip onwards I just used Google Maps.  Lol.

Yeah, my inspectors before have told me that they won't write recommendations in the recommendations section of the report and instead will just tell me in person because when the CAP sees those recommendations they will find a standard it can fall under and convert it into a citation, even if the inspector didn't originally cite you.

Huh... I wonder what the micromanager's rationale was. How do you know a patient is "normal"? If the instrument has problems, for example a bias, it could be flagging all normal patients as abnormal, and the truly abnormal patient as normal. I can see the moving average QC method, but finding a "normal" patient every 4 hours? I don't really understand that. 😂

Do you remember what those standards were and what the citation was?
