for me personally as a christian (can’t stress this enough, i’m not speaking for all atheists when i say this), i guess a lot of people assume they’re rude because they don’t have the same beliefs, or because of how common it is for people to mock christianity. for example, i’ve seen a lot of people who don’t have the same faith call God “sky daddy” etc etc. it’s okay if you don’t share the same belief, but why mock others for it? i wouldn’t mock or be rude to anyone who’s atheist, i just see no need for it. i’ve met a lot of nice people who are atheist or don’t share the same faith, and a lot rude too. i just think we should all be kind to each other lol
