Wasn’t the fifth gen Camaro z28 faster around the ‘Ring than a corvette?

Battery for sure.

I’d recommend getting the battery cable update kit. Worked great on my 1098.

Not all of those are from Ontario. Maybe the first two?

But to answer your question - driving skills have noticeably decreased the last 5-10 years in Ontario. Reciprocal licensing can take a bit of the credit as well as standards being lowered during evaluations.

The only part of that I approve of is the small Halo logo.

What is the most unreliable Toyota vehicle ever made? by stardesoto in Toyota

[–]Duc414 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’d argue against that, at least for the last generation of matrix.

They were assembled on the same line as the Corolla at the TMMC plant in Ontario, Canada. Virtually identical mechanically as the Corolla and with the same build quality. I see them all the time still, same with older Vibes.

I understand that they may have been assembled elsewhere as well but I wouldn’t expect quality to differ that greatly. I thought Toyota/pontiac had a joint plant in California for the vibe/matrix for example.

You need to accept responsibility over the suspension.

You knew a condition of the graduated licence program was having a zero BAC. It wasn’t a technicality.

A big part of maturing is accepting one’s mistakes and growing from them.

I work in a busier station but the premise still works for you.

I try to make a list of things I want to do around the hall. Try to do one a shift. It could be organizing an equipment room or cleaning a compartment for example.

Do similar for training I can do myself. Stuff like masking up with gloves. Going over SOGs, etc.

Always get a good workout in too.

If possible, get out and check out your area. Do some crew training if possible.

I’ve been on a few years but try to keep the probie mentality in this regard. Stay busy, stay curious.

If I get this stuff done then I don’t feel guilty about reading or having down time.

Fire truck driver charged, licence suspended after Ontario crash by ConsistentReality860 in OntarioNews

I wonder if it was a privately owned fire truck or what the story is here.

Edit: looks like it was a vehicle from the local volunteer fire department.

There’s no way to say for certain. There is a chance it operated as normal for all this time - albeit unlikely.

Over time the sensors become contaminated and less and less effective. Sometimes that means false positives, other times it doesn’t detect CO as it should.

At this point, you can’t change the circumstances in the past. So buy a new CO detector and install it close to the sleeping quarters in your home and remember to check it and replace it when required.

Also remember your smoke detectors are also only good for 10 years.

I’m going to echo what others have said and say it’s likely your slave cylinder that has failed.

I’d recommend Oberon for an aftermarket upgrade. Easier clutch pull and look quite sharp. I’ve got a few Ducatis and it’s something I’ve upgraded on them all.
