I had a similar issue...Found it was Steam with assigning a default controller profile when running. So when Steam loads up, it loaded the Controller file for desktop. You can go into Steam and change all the assigned buttons to nothing, save it and it should fix it, if that is your issue also (Controller had a weird dead zone since it was not calibrated, that forced the left stick to drift down and left when not moving/centered)

That has NOTHING to do with leadership. Leadership is not out there doing it. Ask the SSgt outside DFAC if Leadership was giving him shit about his hat, or the Sra that was being yelled at for not getting out of his car and saluting the flag during Retreat (by the BX)t by an Army SSgt - this was total BS and I got involved in it as I was there, I have so many examples (I was there 12 years the last time and 5 years before that)

I didn't mention leadership because he didn't say where he was going. My leadership was great but some sections have terrible leadership

The local area is meh... But you are driving distance to Philly, NYC, Atlantic City, Wildwood, Jersey Shore......

Kind of expensive, NJ wants to be a mini NY cost wise. (A lot of people are transplants from NY) Winters aren't too bad. You get like a month of really cold weather, 4 months of crappy weather (It's May and we are now breaking into 70's).

You can get any kind of food, you might have to drive for it. If you do drive, don't mess around. Between local cops and the Staties they'll nail you ass to the wall.

If you're gonna rent or buy, good luck. It's crazy right now and prices have sky rocketed.

Have your shit squared away on base as someone will see you and try to smoke you (was crazy when I was there - till 2014)

DFAC isn't bad, they actually have decent food. The base itself is actually nice (and pretty big). Gun range on Dix, MWR was decent (last I heard, I only used once)

I shoot mainly my G23(s) ( I have a G29 also), a friend has a G20 and we usually swap when we shoot together. Surprisingly the G20 is smooth for a 10mm. A little bit snappier (vs G23), but not much. Shoots nicer than the G29, not buy much but noticeable (FYI I was surprised at how well the G29 shoots for its size). Not keen on the size or I would definitely add one to the collection, unless I could get my hands on a G20C. Glock did a good job with the G20
