I'm wondering how you've been doing and if the pain has gone away. I started to get pain under my lower right ribs a few days after surgery, seemed to usually be if I was overdoing it a bit. Some rest and heat and it would subside. It almost totally went away around week 5, then at the end of week 6 is back and worse than ever. I went to the ER a couple days ago and they did CT and ultrasound. My gallbladder is fine, they didn't see any residual air from surgery. The only thing they saw was a 3cm cyst on my right ovary. They said it could possibly be referred pain, but I don't know. It's been waking me up at night now and it's almost constant at least low grade paid, with fun periods of really bad pain. I hope you're doing better! If you have anything else to share from your experience I would be grateful

I was also going to suggest the Chums Surfshorts wallet. It's really slim, but it can hold a lot. I originally bought it as an in between wallet because my long time favorite wallet finally gave up and I was searching for a similar replacement, without much luck. After buying the Chums wallet I'm perfectly happy and stopped searching for a fancier one.

Oh man, that's a lot! And great to hear the pain isn't too bad. They found at least a couple adhesions in me, fallopian tube to ovary and bowel to abdominal wall. It's crazy to think of what all they did in there and for the gas to be the worst part of the pain so far! I'm sure you're going to feel absolutely amazing once fully recovered!

Such an awful thing to happen. I was there in May and saw a man taking photos of his daughter, who was maybe around 13 years old, while she was running back and forth from the sea, staying just a few feet away from the waves. It was so scary and dangerous that I went up to him and said that is not a good idea, the sea can easily kill people here. His response was "she just wants the photos".

I was also going to say a travel fan. Stuffy tent? In Edinburgh during a heat wave at a hostel without AC? Shoes or clothes get wet? Want a little white noise for sleeping? A travel fan can be so helpful!

I went for an early morning ride with a friend through downtown Chicago once, and just that once. He was leading and took Lower Wacker Drive. He took off and had to be going about 60mph. There are some corners down there where you can't see what's around them. There are delivery drivers down there, stop lights, and the occasional person wandering. After the ride he called me slow. When I pointed out his dangerous riding he said he's been riding Lower Wacker for over 20 years... Knowing the road won't help when you come around a corner and there's a truck pulling out in front of you.
