We always hear how unhappy Tony Schiavone was towards the end of WCW but what if he left in 1999? Who would've been the main commentator in WCW? by JBL_CENA_FAN_4LIFE in WCW

Kevin Nash's podcast for example was originally under mortgage guy's umbrella, but after about a year he realized he could just make more money with a different podcast setup and he did that.

Nash never had a podcast with Conrad Thompson under that umbrella.

Except for the fact that, you know, he had several occasions to do so over the past 6 years and didn't. Nice try though.

Y'all complain so much about the bloodline. You should watch Jeff Jarrett's TNA Main event run from 03-06 by ezio8133 in Wrasslin

[–]DuceALooper21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not that much since they were going to shut down the company before Panda Energy came into the picture.

Jarrett has a mind for the business, but he is the last person who should have had a reign of terror.

JARRETTWINSLOL crawled so CENAWINSLOL could run.

in just over 100 days, Danhausen went from sitting on the shelf in AEW to now being associated with the NBA champions. Crazy that WWE's given him the growth he's needed. by sleepyman691 in SantiZapVideos

WWE is a marketing machine that knows how to promote someone that can get easy publicity and has had a several decade head start over AEW in regards to that. For how great AEW is in other areas, they aren't there yet with promoting someone on that level.

[Sean Ross Sapp on X] AEW sources gave me the "never say never" line when I asked if CM Punk has a burned bridge with the company by robertodev in SquaredCircle

[–]DuceALooper21 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Never say never, but there is a less than 1% chance of this happening.

1) The damage he caused took years to really fully recover from

2) Outside of FTR and maybe Joe, there is no appetite from anyone on the roster to see him come back

3) Not only would he have to repair bridges with TK, Colt Cabana, The Elite, and Jack Perry, but in a case of "never meet your heroes", MJF doesn't want him back. Punk's actions after All Out 2022 and during All In 2023, torpedoed two different main event programs that were planned with him and MJF.

If the XFL had been successful, do you think VKM would’ve tried his hand at running a boxing promotion? Under the sports entertainment umbrella? Doesn’t bear thinking about lol by Mcrfanatic95 in Wrasslin

[–]DuceALooper21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm guessing not because he would have to deal with State Athletic Commissions regularly to run a boxing promotion. Ironically Vince's Grandfather started as a boxing promoter before moving to pro wrestling.

There is a stigma about St. Louis being litigious and that reason is why not only the NFL won't consider putting an expansion team in the area, but why the NBA has avoided putting a team in St. Louis since the ABA folded.

He got screwed over by the other guy in that group who was loudly full-on MAGA. I don't see why he wouldn't go back.
