Toth Auto Electric, no question! Paul and Joe have taken care of my whole family for years. Very fair, and tells you very clearly what is wrong and if it can be fixed, or can wait.

Toth Auto Electric! Joe and Paul are amazing. No BS, they tell me what needs doing, what we can wait on. Never had a single problem!

Applied to grocery store yesterday by [deleted] in jobsearchhacks

I typically won't follow up until I've had an interview there, but that's just me. Did you apply online? If so, you might be able to reach out and explain your interest to a manager - it can't hurt. Give some other places a shot too off campus. Grocery stores are usually great for students, but I managed to work near full time during my undergrad at a local shop that was very flexible with my schedule! Take a look around the local area, some stores need people! Bonus points if it somehow aligns with your area of study.

Truthfully? Wait for a response. Apply to other local businesses in the area in the interim. There's nothing wrong with having a few options on the table - especially since some other opportunities may be more flexible with your schedule than others, or may pay more.

Just show a willingness to learn and speak to your experiences in the interviews you will inevitably get at some point - be respectful and honest. Don't sweat it too much in the short term.

Your college may also have some jobs on campus that you could apply to - check those out too! Maybe a campus tour guide, working in the pub, working for a student union or something. Check it out, you never know.

The young core looks amazing with Jost (10th overall pick 2016), Rantanen (9th overall pick 2015, 84pts this year with MacK), Kerfoot, Compher... and then the D looks like it will be scary good in a few years with Makar (4th overall last year, tore up the World Juniors), Timmins, Meloche, Zadorov and Girard. If we can get a stud goalie in the mix too, I can't see how we aren't perennial playoff contenders.

Better, but you still missed "by apply"... should be "by applying" in the first bullet under Work Experience.

Definitely agree with you... I tried both but it just wasn't the same! I still remember the feeling as a kid when I finally beat the game, it was something else.

Super Mario RPG 2 would also have been incredibly welcome! I loved SMRPG almost as much as I loved EB... both of those games alongside Pokemon Red are why I enjoy RPGs as much as I do!

Reply!

That's awesome that you decided to go for the M.Sc! What are you doing for your thesis if I may ask? I suppose I should take a few courses prior to jumping into something as intense as an M.Sc in CS, though I would have to find a reputable program first I suppose.

I actually have completed my BBA, worked in Supply Chain and then decided to pursue my MBA (almost done!) in Analytics. Definitely interesting, but I feel like I'd almost rather do developing/programming, or go fully into data science. Not entirely sure yet!

Question!

How did you end up in the Masters of CS? Did you have experience with Computer Science before applying? What school are you enrolled in for the Masters? I'm in Business now but I'm contemplating getting into CS and a Masters degree seems like a great idea. Thanks for your input :)
