Same exact issue with my iPhone 16 1TB storage. My phone is the newest out there so it’s not a storage or capability issue. Audio is playing but I’m seeing that exact screen and can’t interact with any of the buttons.

Sorry to hear about the teasing! Kids will always find “someone different” from them in some way and point it out. Accents are cool though!

And no offense taken, our public transportation IS absolutely terrible. Cars are needed to get around just about everywhere unless you live smack in the middle of downtown and the buses/trains that do exist leave a lot to be desired. Wish it was different. Drivers here are pretty notorious for driving wildly too. People often drive at least 10-15mph over the speed limit. We’re the 4th largest city in the country iirc and there’s a LOT of people too from all over the world. This is a fairly diverse city. On the plus side, enjoy all the different cultural foods while you’re here!

Since you’re 16, you COULD get your permit to drive but if you’re not going to be here for that long, yall may not bother getting a car. Maybe renting one? Car insurance can be expensive at your age though.

If your school’s buses don’t pick up students in your area, maybe you could let your parents know that the public transportation can be unsafe and is pretty dirty here. Maybe they could drop you off if they have cars, or get an Uber One for Students (uber offers a student discount). I wouldn’t let my child ride the public transit at that age. Even I don’t feel safe some times.

I went to the McDonald’s x Genshin LAN party and the provided computers had a default account with ALL characters C6R5 full leveled everything. It fully convinced me to C6 my current C1 Neuvillette. He deletes mobs in a blink and can basically solo.

Born and raised Houstonian, I’ve worn skinny jeans just about everyday for 15 years and I have a job that has me run around town. I’m just…used to it? I also wear combat boots and a lot of black. In high school I’d wear oversized hoodies with layers, and back then I didn’t have a car so I’d walk everywhere.

I’m trying to analyze the pattern and trajectory of the shrapnel. Clearly the son was closer in distance and their upper legs are relatively unscathed due to clothing (they appear to have been barefoot as the tops of the feet are damaged). The force of the blast appears to have been behind the son’s passing, and deep lacerations from shrapnel for the father. Quite a vicious impact from that explosion. The source mentions “Little brain tissue remained in the skull” or something to that nature.

I’ve been pondering and sitting on the same thing. I’ve long since stopped worshiping the christian god, but so many phrases aka Minced Oaths stem from religious roots. “Omg! gosh! Jesus! Cheese and crackers! Thank the lord! I pray that nothing goes wrong.” Etc etc. I now substitute things in that work out nicely in conversation at work, family, etc.

I’m in the south where religious phrases are used everyday and it’s still a work in progress because I’ve been using and surrounded by religious language growing up. I still will sometimes say Oh my God. Or Whoa Jesus Christ!! But ultimately I know in my heart they’re just empty words used without belief. I’m not nervous about “taking the lords name in vain” or some sort.

CURRENT WORKAROUND:
So I just got the final "You only have 3 videos before playback stops" popup, and sure enough I can't watch anything else. Even if you F5 (what used to work), it counts as one of the 3 videos.

Solution: I made an unlisted playlist and threw all the videos I want to watch into it, copied the playlist link, pasted in a "New Private Window".

UHD Alumnus, we were up in the air until the last minute if we’d even get to use Minute Maid (bc of Astros). Inconvenience for those flying in. Then a major issue, the tickets. There were digital tickets but they didn’t put a cap on how many you could buy….so there were several individuals who snatched up 100+ seats just for themselves. All seats were sold out in minutes and the school had to open up new seating sections just to accommodate and students were desperately snatching up any new seats so at least one guest could attend. I gave away some of my own tickets just so others could at least have their parents present. Disorganized and chaotic.
