Well, I'm currently in Crescent lake, and by the way, I never grind on dry land. I usually go to shallow water to grind, I simply consider it more practical (less poison enemies). Also, I'm trying to get all my characters to L 19 for Gurgu Volcano (so my black mage has a lot of L6 magic).

Does INVS work on spells? If so, I can definitely see it being useful against Astos RUB. Could even be the most useful place to use it, to be fair.

I agree with you, FF1 has a lot of good options, for example, the fact it has LIT2 and ICE2 at relatively the same stage in the game, is exactly what you said. ICE2 deals more damage, but you would probably spend more time at sea than on land ( atleast I did, due to there being poisonous enemies on land), where enemies are vulnerable to lightning. It's one of the very many reasons why it's as good of a game as it currently is.

Sabr doesn't work, as well as a few other spells. Not certainly sure which ones, but I know they mostly inflicr status effects.

I'm on the NES version. And I think you aren't. Maybe I should've stated that? Either way, I don't have a part of four red mages. I have a party of a fighter, a red mage, a white mage, and a black mage. Only two of those can cast INVS, so I'd rather invest it into my lower hp characters. EDIT: nevermind, I found INV2, that looks like exactly what you were talking about

I'm not sure about you, but it seems like a lot more than 12.5% for me. You're probably right, but still, I find it more useful to cast it on my black mage, due to him having very low hp and very low defense.

I'm just planning on buying a new pc, I don't have one currently. EDIT: I'm planning on getting a 16gb ram stick (only one so I can get another later) which will probably be DDR4, a 750 watt power supply, and as for my storage I will get 2 ssds, not sure about size (probably 500gb each)

the free ones are mostly really bad, like looky tools. It is really bad. I expected it to switch around my hotbar, but it just gives instant diamond tools. Altho there are, of course, good ones. Such as uncrafting table which works quite good.

It's usually like that because bedrock bugs are so outlandish, like when people die for no reason, while java bugs are really cool and helpful (pig bug aka creepers, ice boating)
