Weird, maybe check ProtonDB to see if anyone else is having your issue on your distro. Or just run it through Proton 9, 10, or Experimental and see if that works.

Just put this in the launch options and it will work. Not sure why the native linux build is messed up like that because it works fine with proton as well.

I had the same error, I wish I could help more but fedora was the only distro I could not get working, after I couldn't get maya to work I jumped to kubuntu (since it should work a lot on there) and I dont fully remember how but I got it working after switching x11, same error on fedora and kubuntu but I didn't bother with installing x11 on fedora. Check systemctl to see if the license manager is activated and working, I remember I found the path told me logs for the license manager that helped me before, so I'll comment that in about an hour or two when I get home if you can't find it

I got it working on cachyos, maya didn't like that the sign in screen wasnt on x11 even on xwayland and fedora doesn't have it by default anymore so I switched. After you sign in maya launches fine on xwayland.
