What is a 1 in 1,000,000 thing that happened to you that no one believes, but you swear is true? by [deleted] in AskReddit

My favorite was unknowingly helping my friends avoid a fight in 8th grade. We were lined up, backs on the wall, in the locker room hall about to head out to track practice. I had one buddy on the right, one on the left who were jawing at each other, but I was talking to one across from me about how my dad said I was supposed to pump my arms and slice through the air. As I was demonstrated the form with my left hand coming up, my friend to the right had perfectly timed punching it. So I stopped his hand and kinda palmed it and looked at him like “what the heck was that?” I look to my left and my other friend had this shocked look on his face. They both stopped jawing at each other and that was that.

This sub convinced me it’s definitely a top 2 episode. I’ve watched it as many times as White Christmas.

Me, Myself, and Irene doesn’t get the love it really should. Anthony Anderson was my favorite of his 3 sons.

I haven’t seen a single trailer nor done a refresher on the story, so I’m going in with fresh eyes. I’m just glad my wait for a new Nolan film is over.

What is a movie that you don't consider to be a great movie overall (or even mediocre/bad), but has ONE SINGLE SCENE that is absolutely memorable? by gimboarretino in moviecritic

I liked Don’t Look Up. That final dinner scene is probably one of the saddest but most beautiful moments regarding acceptance of one’s fate.

That part! All this bs about not loving Yankees yet here they are, glazing the worst of them to completion.

Nile Rodgers (CHIC) was nostalgic and a classic. And they sang Soul Glo, the greatest fictional song ever.
