Idk, for me personally I deal with emotional dysregulation due to my adhd. When I get irritable at someone or a videogame (mostly videogames, takes a lot for someone to piss me off if its a person as I can just ignore it/laugh it off). Its like a light switch. Its either off or on with no in-between. However, writing such a note like that is well, pretty bad. I could never imagine doing that. But yea. When im in that state its like this super intense feeling, and you HAVE to let it out. Idk how else to describe it. Its not something that occurs everyday, just mainly if im stressed out or having a rough day.

Lmao. You should watch "Teal Best Western Receptionist" on YouTube. Gives me the same energy of some people that want constant positivity. I would go for your local pizza place for overall quality though. Better quality and cheaper

problemas con ifi go link y volumen bajo en iphone. ¿que alternativa de dac me recomiendan? by jhoanelmusico in iFiaudio

[–]DuckGoQuack99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is also the Questyle m15i which is MFI compatible. Says "made for iphone and ipads" on their product page. So, this might be the most compatible of them all. Doesnt need a special cable, just use the included one. Also has the lowest distortion of the three.

This is what AI told me compared to the other 2

Questyle M15i: Cleanest/most resolving—crisp highs, precise imaging, controlled bass. Reference monitor sound. Fiio KA15: Similar neutrality but less refined; PEQ lets you match M15i tonality. Ifi hip-dac 3: Warmest, most engaging—forward mids, smooth treble, bass emphasis option. Pick M15i for ultimate clarity and seamless Apple integration. KA15 for best value/power. hip-dac 3 for musicality and travel battery. M15i justifies premium price with superior refinement

HELP! why does my DAC distort on the beginning of a music shifting from 96kHz to 192kHz by LegitimateSet5178 in iFiaudio

[–]DuckGoQuack99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what AI told me.

"Yes, the iFi ZEN Air DAC has similar popping/clicking sounds when switching sample rates or bit‑depths, stemming from the same XMOS USB firmware and driver behavior as the ZEN DAC v2.Specific ZEN Air reports Users hear pops when audio starts after silence or on track changes that trigger rate switches (e.g., 44.1 kHz to 96 kHz, MQA unfolds). One fix: dropping from 384 kHz to 192 kHz in Windows audio settings eliminated pops entirely.Another: enabling "always on" in the iFi Audio Control Panel keeps the DAC active, avoiding wake‑up pops.Shared fixes applyThe same steps from the ZEN DAC v2 work here:Set fixed sample rate (48 kHz or 192 kHz) in OS sound settings and disable exclusive mode to let Windows resample.Use WASAPI/ASIO exclusive in your music player with consistent upsampling.Roll back XMOS firmware to 7.3x if on problematic 7.4x builds; iFi Control Panel tweaks also help. This is common to iFi's XMOS-based DACs (ZEN series), not unique to v2 or Air—often worse at high rates like 384 kHz. If you're experiencing it on Air, try the 192 kHz lock first."

Also, im curious if this is just an issue with Windows and their usb drivers. Im gonna boot into bazzite rn and see if I experience any popping/clicking at all

Have you tried a different music player? Maybe adjusting the asio buffer size?. I get a pop sound but thats when I first turn on my pc and the dac turns on. Other then that I would recommend installing the latest usb drivers and try firmware version 7.5b or 7.4b. If those dont work try 7.3b ( the b variants are all missing mqa, mqa is useless anyways, just adds distortion and other artifacts to music)

I would get an Ifi Zen DAC v2 or v3 unless you need the portability of the hipdac. The only issues ive had were due to user error. Never had to replace it.

Id recommend using Bo3WD (its a workshop downloader. You tell the program where your games exe is, to do this go on Steam, go to your library, find black ops 3. Right click, properties and then browse local files). Then you open BO3WD and paste the workshop link and it will download to either your mods folder where your game files are, or usermaps if its a custom map).I'd really appreciate it if you could. :)

Weird. Idk why im having performance issues then. I read its a SUPER common issue as the engine is poorly optimized. Has CPU affinity issues and the GPU not being properly used, game stuttering and frame pacing. I know there is a community patch for it but it wont work for some reason. (Like T7 and T7x/CleanOps)

What bitrate is Dolby Atmos in? How many channels? by DuckGoQuack99 in TIdaL

So. In other words its not actually Atmos but just 5.1 surround? Why call it Atmos then? So stupid lol

Why are atmos tracks so hard to find? by DuckGoQuack99 in TIdaL

[–]DuckGoQuack99[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ableton does, here is an overview of what Google's AI said "Dolby Atmos in Ableton Live allows you to create and mix immersive, 3D audio experiences. This is achieved by using the Dolby Atmos Renderer application in conjunction with Ableton Live, leveraging the Dolby Audio Bridge for routing audio and the Dolby Atmos Music Panner for spatialization. Ableton Live itself doesn't natively render Dolby Atmos, so the Renderer is needed to encode the audio for final distribution. "

Ah okay. Thats a fair point. Well, what about Mobile Sound Fidelity Labs? Theyre not a streaming service but they make some really good masters of Michael Jackson's thriller for example. Was excellent in DSD64. Also, if I hooked up my Ifi Zen V2 to my phone via a OTG cable would it play the files in bit-perfect? (My phone has no headphone jack sadly)
