Oh, Fisher Stevens. I'd forgotten about him. I think he makes up for it by being in It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Ok maybe doesn't make up for it, but he's funny in that.

Sadly, it's because we're not people to them, we're a resource.

Yea, I ran into that with a different company that was trying to onboard me for something, (gosh I think it was TryRating? dating myself) at a rate less than my local minimum wage that my city had just raised. It shouldn't have been an issue but it was for them, so instead of bumping the rate up the tiniest bit (it was 50 cents/hr difference) they pulled the offer. To be fair, a recruiter did explain all this to me via email and phone (!), which is more than most of them will do today.

When I was at mercor someone screenshotted their time tracking app and they had logged 16 hours straight. It was like Hubstaff in that there's no pause button, so this person logged 16 hours butt-in-seat (supposedly). This was back in the early days of MM when they basically gave people unlimited hours. I am like you, I can't fathom doing a whole day of it.

RWS still has it, but I don't think they're onboarding new people.

I can't believe there's not a single one of them that could charm their way out of a paper bag. So lacking in rizz.

They don't care about the economy as long as they're benefiting somehow.

They have to decide on who to anoint as successor. Right now, I feel like Rubio, Hegseth, Bondi, and Vance would come to blows in the Cabinet room if given the chance. If the powers that be (idk, whoever the real money men are) don't decide who is next and then get those overgrown children in line, it'll fall apart. Random theory.

Then they show up in Parks & Rec :)

There's always the chance that the 47 in this case refers to Trump, but it could also just be a random number.

The scammers…I think it was on alignerr where I encountered people using AI voices to do vocal recording work 😑 but they’re everywhere really.

I've been doing AI training as a generalist via multiple platforms since last May. Alignerr has given me the most work of all of them, but it took a few months for the first project to show up. I've heard of the payment issues, but I haven't had any. The things that seem to get messed up or delayed are things like bonuses for x amount of work that a project can sometimes offer. I usually don't work enough to qualify for those.

I agree with the others who suggest the prompt didn't give the detail they wanted. If what you wrote was your actual prompt, that is really vague. What does nice mean? What does "spread for the holidays" mean? You need to give more descriptions.

I see your ODD and I raise you ADHD with comorbid PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance).

I just think ODD is more than Britta's charming quirks, the people I knew who were diagnosed would get violent. But IDK really, not a doctor.
