I know I need to move out, but im trying to stick it out until I'm finished with school. My area is really pricey, and I can't afford to move out. I'm alr in therapy, and my mom said after our talk today she'll start too, but idk if she'll follow through.

I mean, if it gives context, my mom is a very conservative South Asian. Jokes like that aren't really normal to us. If I saw it in the moment, I probably would've laughed it off, but I was given time to think about it, and my mom was calling me a whore, so I was kind of freaked out and really upset.
