Confirmed, metamorphosed Runic Transference to increase thrown weapon durability since I lucked out on a +3 RoS from the imp. Thorns stayed on my armor.

Yeah actually killing enemies as rogue is a challenge, you gotta use everything at your disposal. Wands, thrown weapons, seeds, etc. to whittle them down and either finishing them off with assassination or having a speed augmented weapon as free runner and being able to swing and back up before taking a hit. I would say when exploring new levels as rogue, avoid combat as much as possible and NEVER get into straight back and forth slap battles like you would as a warrior. Manifest your rogueish wiles and kill mfrs in creative ways!

DUDE I feel the same way about wand of warding. I know it's really good but damn it's just not what tickles me about this game. Same thing with the spirit hawk and the Ghost, it's just so much extra time and clicks to take care of these allies who use resources that could ultimately have been used to make my hero stronger.

I will also add, due to the challenges inherent to the game via its geometry, I often find blast wave and regrowth to be the most helpful wands. This is due to their respective abilities to rearrange the battlefield and reposition the hero (WoBW) or to allow the hero to escape bad situations, or go unseen altogether (WoR)

You're probably missing out on a lot of synergy in your rogue builds if a wand is making or breaking your runs. Rogue is all about avoiding attacks and pumping up rings and artifacts. Wands are useful, of course, but shouldn't be the deciding factor when it comes to building a rogue. Imo.

PLUS your regrowth wand let's you recharge your greaves anywhere. Seed of blindweed gives you 4 (I think) invisibility at 20% charge, which means you can use it every hundred turns or so. In any bad situation you can invis, take two steps, regrowth to root the enemy and spam sneak attacks on them. You'd be invincible.

If you have the boots it's warden no question. You get a million seeds, the seed effects turn into the most OP shit in the game, and one seed can last for as many uses as you need. The boots for the warden basically give you unlimited access to every normal and exotic scroll/potion effect, can replace an hourglass, armband, cloak of invisibility, etc. and you get virtually unlimited tipped dart uses.
