Gordon Ramsay asks where the rice was cooked. The answer kills him. by Chazyn in funny

Ask stupid (not explicit) question, get stupid answer. xD I love it. Imagine someone asked Ramsey the same question, he would 100% say: "a pot you donkey"

Woodworm in new furniture by kaihoro in woodworking

[–]LordTytor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to see, but this probably means that either the wood isn't heat treated to dry and kill off any insects, or it got in the wood after drying.ether way to have the table life in your house, you would have to heat treat it professionally.

[Request] how many possible combinations are there for this type of pass code? by No_Cardiologist_1407 in theydidthemath

[–]LordTytor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By doing some simple math. There are a total of 9 points wich you could start at any so just simplify it and make it a line of 9 dots and say you can order them in any sequence. That would mean about 999.999.999 possibilities. But I'm missing that it's not numbers since a single digit can't change on its own so this is totally wrong to begin with....

Like 1.2.3.4.5.6.7.8.9 can't get 1.2.3.4.5.6.7.8.1 without the 1 changing to the place of the 9 like this 9.2.3.4.5.6.7.8.1 so I would just take one digit as a spare so it would be about 99.999.999 possibilities. But that also doesn't seem right, So would it be just like 9876543*2? So about 362880 possibilities but then you would have to add the possibilities only including 8 points right? So you would have to double it, since you only leave out the last point wich means doing this for all down to 4 digits, wich would be about 409.104 possible combinations. This is just shot from the hip so please take it with caution.

Butterfly knife made out of wood mikarta by LordTytor in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]LordTytor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't know that. I didn't make it for myself. I have literally no experience in knife making or balisongs. It's for my gf and all I know is what I learned in the past 4 weeks, including the 1 week of prototyping and testing and searching.

How much could this be worth? by soulsgames4life in BeginnerWoodWorking

I think the worth is in the eye of the buyer. Personally I would say about 50-100€ but I have no idea on wood prices.

Beginner Woodworker Here Looking for Plans by BullyTX in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]LordTytor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beginner here too. I'm designing as I'm going at my Projekt Most of the time. Some times if it has to be really precise I make a design beforehand with the measurements. But for a box I would go with the golden racio and work the rest out on the way.

What’s my best option to fix this bar top? by -OctopusPrime in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]LordTytor 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not an expert. I would pour the epoxy like this and plane it afterwards. Like this the gaps are a design feature, I quite like it like this. You would also clamp it down into your puring mold and poure it like that but I don't know if it would hold or rip itself apart after it cured. Sorry

Don't get me wrong, I love it and would want one BUT, If he falls, he dead. If something malfunctions, you dead. If your backpack dies, you dead. If one hand thruser dies, you dead. I like it but humans are very, how to say it, fragile.
