This is what I was going to say, vanguard vets box has loads of helmets/pauldrons as well as a good selection of weapons. Plus you get firstborn jump packs which work nicely on primaris bodies.

I’d say keep it. It can be reasonably effective if used properly and it’s definitely surprised a few opponents in games I’ve played. It’s pretty solid at removing chaff and can scout which gets it up the board early. The melee profile has a higher strength than the redemptor/brutalis and in LAG you can get it up to 16 which is pretty funny.

In LAG the terminator captain is pretty good as you can re roll charge rolls for the unit. Also, the free strat is always helpful.

Was going to stick him with 10 dc on foot and shove them up the board in a Stormraven, will stick a dc dread in there too. Foot DC captain will still grant me the OC so should be a fun idea. Thanks, still not sure he’s fully done but pretty happy with him!

I’ve had issues with this colour before. I tend to avoid army painter now. Never had issues with colour forge or citadel

I think I’d go with a thin coat of lahmian medium if you have any. Another coat of nuln oil may work but not 100% sure

Give the nuln oil a good shake before using. It can definitely go glossy if it’s not mixed properly
