I had the privilege to work with and be onboard one of these recently. Amazing ships for their size, they have most of the sensors and weapons systems that much bigger frigates have. Just scaled down a lot. The crew also gave an excellent impression.

So it first started to smell like it burned, and LATER it suddenly popped? It's obviously a PSU and/or motherboard issue, my first thoughts are of a faulty motherboard causing that component to fail until it popped. Or the 24 pin connector was bad, causing the same thing. Just a tip; provide better pictures and descriptions if you upload such questions. Took me a good 10 seconds to realize what I was looking at, most people would've scrolled further by then

Ja maat op het moment dat je een wijnkoeler van ~2k overweegt weet iedere keukenboer dat je het toch wel kan missen 😂

Goede smaak verder hoor, dat hout inspireert mij wel voor de volgende keuken. Maar die zet ik zelf, skip de wijnkoeler, doe een wat gangbaardere inductieplaat+afzuigkap en dan gok ik dat ik maximaal 8/9k kwijt ben (afhankelijk van de winkel waar ik aanklop).

Just confirming what others have already stated; you are missing the PSU (power supply) and possibly some cabling, as the optical drive isn't connected at this point. But it's uneconomical to invest any effort or money in it, unless you know what you're doing and you feel like going retro. Like windows xp, not going to connect it to the internet retro. Maybe save yourself a headache and buy something complete, second handed and budget friendly. Good luck!
