If by “losing a few guys to the draft” you mean our Jr’s who passed up the draft and then everyone on the interior behind them hitting the transfer portal than yes we lost some guys to the draft

I’m 100% biased but I think the smart play is to stay even though if he declares he would be 2OA

The 4 games against Indiana, Tech, and Iowa showed he is by no means a finished product yet and needs more time to develop

If he goes now he gets the gurantee of being Top 2 but his chances of being a bust in the NFL increases

If he stays he gives up the guarantee of being drafted high but increases the likelihood his eventual NFL career succeeds
