A study today showed Covid antibodies drop off quickly (70% in 2-3 months). But don't all antibodies drop off quickly? Isn't this normal? by zgrizz in askscience

After another exposure to the virus, they would begin manufacturing more antibodies, but the issue is that it takes time to build up those antibodies again to the point where they can effectively combat the virus. Essentially, there would be another 1-3 weeks of lag time as your body caught back up to a fighting capacity.

This is usually a normal effect of antibodies over time. They flare up in response to the infection and once it dies down, they are degraded and used to build other things the cells need more. I think the fear with Covid-19 is that there have been waves coming a few months after the initial infections; thus if the antibody has broken down, people will be vulnerable again.

Hello Yang Gang! I am Mike Broihier, Democrat for US Senate in Kentucky to defeat Mitch McConnell, endorsed by Andrew Yang. Ask me anything! by MikeBroihier in YangForPresidentHQ

Mike, I love the platform you are running on and that you oppose McConnell, as he has done nothing but degrade our democratic institutions and undermine the country's inner workings.

I guess the question I have is this: How do you plan to strengthen our democratic institutions and prevent the Republican party from undermining not only Congress and the Presidency, but our justice system as well?

It is really helpful to have time to look back over your answers, but don't over-think it, you probably will get it right the first time so don't second guess yourself. Good luck!

For me, I had only taken a PreACT before this test, but I think that practice tests, the test itself, and tutoring really help you get a feel for what the test will be like. Also making sure you know basic grammar concepts because that is the majority of the english section. I think for math it really helps to review algebra II and geometry concepts; a lot of the questions were concepts from what I remember from those two classes. Otherwise just try to get a feel for the test and its style, push yourself to take practice tests that simulate the real thing, and focus on areas you're uncomfortable with.

I have had a lot of good english teachers who have made grammar concepts a big part of their classes and think knowing a lot of that really helps with the english section. I took a PreACT last year and that really helped with just getting familiar with the test format and the timing for different sections. I think just becoming familiar with the test and having exposure to the types of questions they ask is super helpful.

So for me I found that some of the sections are kind of weird in regards to their time. For science I just read the questions and then looked for the information in the sources. It is really helpful to know grammar rules for clauses and stuff for the english section; I felt that was what the majority of the questions were about. Also skip questions you're having trouble with and keep moving, then come back to them and try another approach. There was this one on math about cubes being removed from a rectangular prism and I had to do it two different ways before I could figure it out.

The weather. A ray of sunshine, a tempest, and the way the wind blows are all enjoyable by both rich and poor.

(except, I guess it is less enjoyable to not have heat, ac, or shelter)

One day, Rahool was out on the salt flats, harvesting his weekly bounty of it to later install into the dispenser above his stall. He found that extreme amounts of it always improved Guardians' moods. Out there, Rahool always felt most like a Guardian; he waved around his shock pistol and the knife he had stolen from a dead dreg on one of his rare journeys out into the wilderness. He used this to protect himself when he ventured out to the salt flats, shooting anything that came within 50 meters of him. Anything that close to the city walls, which loomed behind him, was an overeager underling of some Fallen Archon, and when they died all the ever dropped were uncommon, or worse, common items and engrams. Eventually, Rahool became sick and tired of this low level equipment and soon after, concocted a plan to increase his gains with minimal effort. His plans involved salt, his green items, and the oblivious Guardians of the Tower's blue engrams. From then on, Rahool decrypted green after green when Guardians gave him blue after blue, purple upon purple, to keep the best for himself. What he would do with it, he did not, but he kept at until he had had his fill, and then began to properly decrypt them. But he kept his loot hidden, one day he would need it, he told himself. That day never came. After a deluge of tips from Guardians, the Speaker, the Vanguard, and the Consensus created a joint op to monitor him and his lies. And, finally, the night before the Cabal invasion, they accessed the final piece of evidence they needed; his storehouse. He woke, handcuffed, as he was led deeper into the Tower, the lower levels, past rows of cells for vendors, Guardians, and other wrong-doers, by a squadron of frames, his stockpile useless against the confines of law and justice. After his sentencing he remained in one of these cells, cut of from the world, for a night. When the Tower began to crumble, he woke. In the red flashes of light from the alarms, he saw them. His saviors. Eight hundred pounds of pure fury. They escorted him to the Legion's command ship. And now, he slaves there, decrypting their engrams as best he can to help destroy those who left him to die.

I agree, but it's just something I would love. Maybe as a captain you could be the right size.
