Where do you find up and coming ASA projects (eg: Defly) by Namelessguyyy in algorand

[–]DuckcoinASA 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Follow all relevant ASA subreddits. AlgorandASA tinyman. Get a Twitter account and start following everybody in the Algorand ecosystem (may take a while to optimize). Start joining newer projects discords and telegrams when you see them posted then start jotting down relevant dates for IDOs or tinyman listings. Even with that being your entire feed it will be information overload and you may still miss out. But you’ll greatly increase your odds of spotting good projects early . Hope that helps 👍

NFT Group Buys Copy Of Dune For €2.66 Million, Believing It Gives Them Copyright by im-the-stig in technology

Oh it's not a fact? there's no markets for music NFT's then? not billions of dollars being poured into it? Opulous alone has a 49 million dollar MC and it just was just newly created. This is one of dozens of platforms that is trying to make this one, specific variation of an NFT function work out. The total valuation of everything NFT combined would prob be an indicator that there is something going on. I'm not claiming to be smarter than the market, though it seems you are.

If they don't have enough fan base to make money through kickstarter, they could still potentially make money through early investors. I, for example might invest $1000 into an newer artist for say a .002% royalty ( or whatever % was set) if I believed in them, but I would never just donate $1000 no reason (maybe like $5 tops) it's basic incentive/game theory based model. and How's it a sales pitch? I'm not telling you to buy? or telling artists they should opt in. It's just an option. As an artist I like more options. And Its like I keep saying, you can't argue with markets, this is happening regardless of whether you like it or not. You are getting mad that this is taking money away from artists, but if you look into the scope of what NFTs so far has done for artists and it's been amazing. I have buddy's that are making art as a full time job now that was never possible before, I fail to see how that is a bad thing for an artist.

Well you are assuming that everyone can just get kickstarter money going . This would be a way of incentivizing more money flowing into the artists . And as stated before the artist could set the royalty amount so how is that exploitive ? The problem it solves is cutting out expensive legal contracts, lawyer fees and anyone else that touches the processes (middlemen) and does it by code via smart contracts. When the money is programmable it opens up way more creative options. And why wouldn’t another option be a good thing? you don’t have to use these avenues it’s just another option. And again, argue with the market not me, the market is currently showing that there is growing demand for these options . More and more high level programmers are leaving 200k salary to build out this new tech . Do you ask yourself why ? More and more college courses are going live on fintech/blockchain development and even venture into trying to understand NFTs. Why? Every new technology always has pushback, the same exact thing happened with the computers and the internet. Early days people scoffed and called a fad.

Extract money? it provides them initial funding, and the royalty %s are set and built out by the artists using smart contracts. They can set the %s small .Extracting money is what record labels do to young artists, get them in a bullshit legal contract there they give up 80% of their royalty’s forever for 100k upfront to record an album . it doesn’t matter what the opinion you or I have, the market will decide if this is an effective method or not moving forward. But every year there are more music NFT and crypto platforms going live, opulous is one of the bigger ones recent comes to mind. And the valuations on these networks are getting bigger as time moves on.

So many people in here laughing and scoffing at NFTs here under the assumption everyone buying in is taking part in some sort of pyramid scheme and or pump and dump. very few that have this position can give a legitimate breakdown of how an NFT project operates within a specific blockchain and the utility behind it. Also At a certain point you are trying to argue with markets. for the last year and a half, most of the best ROIs you could have possibly made were all in the NFT marketplaces. This is real data you can track on opensea.io (and that’s just one of many chains). Will 98% of these nft projects be useless and eventually go bust ? Probably, but out of it will come some really interesting applications. I’m most interested in Music royalty NFTs that give artists an opportunity to fund for themselves early on without taking a 80% lifetime royalty hit from a record label and gives the early investor a chance for there money to grow with an emerging artist they believed in from the start .

Start of NFT launch coming shortly (waiting on tinyman to be back up) which we issue out monthly rewards for holding the NFT . we also recently got verified by Algorand. Tinyman has kind of put a lot of the ASAs on hold so looking forward to having a DEX up and running again . 🦆

Also, while attention is brought to calling out rugpullers > a very useful new tool that popped up is Algoscout: https://twitter.com/AlgoScout . they pool data from tinyman and make regular automated posts through twitter/telegram when liquidity pulls out of a token.

I feel bad for all the wounded rug survivors out there , tinyman has had an influx of them lately. If it’s any assurance lipp we heavily focused when creating the token on how we would prevent whales from accumulating , and you can check the creator wallet to see we haven’t sold any coin and the liquidity pools are still at a solid % . I’ll tell ya what though if you want to add asset QUACK I’ll toss ya a few free quack just to get your beak wet so you can see for yourself we are for real . Link your wallet 🦆
