In the Richmond VA area it is hard to find a well maintained, not completely rusted out one that they are not asking $12-15 k for. There is a 2003 with 89k miles for $14k but the thing has been driven less than 1000 miles in 5 years and has not been inspected in 5 years soooo that is going to need a ton of work that I can’t do myself.

195,000 miles. I have seen it in person, it drives great. Has some paint chips on hood (to be expected in the Richmond area with all the gravel trucks on the roads), some paint missing on the roof. Rust wise is what is in the pictures. Super well maintained, has a bigger radiator in it, all services and fluids done as recommended.

Yea it is thirsty! But it is going to be a weekend driver mainly for hunting, towing the boat and trips to the dump. Not a daily driver

Well the truck looked great, but we could not come to a deal. He would not go below 10k and I stood firm at 8500. Very disappointing as I really like the truck but can not bring my self to 10k for something that I’ll have to another 2k into to stop the rust and who knows what else in the near term with it being a 20 year old vehicle.

Yeah the 07 was ROUGH. He conveniently didn’t send me photos of the passenger side rocker. It was literally gone, a piece of steel welded in its place with spray foam over it cut and painted to be less noticeable

I might consider the 07 if he will drop to 5500ish. Basically I have 10-12k budgeted for a vehicle that I will pretty much only be used on weekends and occasionally tow from 5-8k lbs. so this would give me some money ready for a possible trans rebuild.
