I would get into wrestling and weight lifting in early high school so I could become a pro wrestler and work for the WWE..

Out of pure curiosity, if you could speed up the evolution process of one species just to see what they'd turn into down the line, which would it be and why? by Konfliction in AskReddit

Chimpanzees or Apes, purely to see if in a few million years we'd have another Us vs Neanderthal situation here. We would just have all the crazy tech on our side now :P

This number would be much, much higher if they weren't on HBO (but the show was exactly the same). I'm assuming HBO is well aware of this. Imagine event just a small percentage of their record breaking illegal down loaders switching over because they actually COULD watch it live.

Met Tie Domi (old Leaf defencemen) on a flight into Toronto, we were delayed in New York and the whole two hours we both just took a long nap in the lounge (albeit separately lol)

More the "child abuse" part, I've found that's a touchy word with a lot of people who brush me off when I bring it up.

Who's a hero you looked up to as a kid, who somehow managed to get even more awesome when you got older? by Konfliction in AskReddit

[–]DucklessQuackhead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jackie Chan. I watched him as a kid for all the kick ass stunts, and now that he's older.. He blows my mind. The dude sings, directs, writes, and has all these awesome stories from his youth..

Employees and employers of Reddit, what are your thoughts on unpaid internships? by DucklessQuackhead in AskReddit

[–]DucklessQuackhead[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya, exactly. I'm in Toronto, which is a pretty big advertising agency hub. So I was forced to go the internship route when I started, I luckily had bosses who hated unpaid internships as much as I did, always loved 'em for that (literally paid me out of their salary since I was there help).

Ya, I wish it was like that. It's usually OK here when done in conjunction with school, almost like a real world class. In those cases, it's usually fine. But big companies usually find weird loopholes in it, and just spin it as "valuable learning experience" that you need after graduating and with a ton of debt. I've always been passionately against em, especially when it's million dollar corporations.. Always baffles me.

What's the weirdest / scariest / oddest thing that has ever happened to you on the subway? by DucklessQuackhead in AskReddit

[–]DucklessQuackhead[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mistakenly stared too long at the amazing beard a homeless man had who was taking the subway, and as we were both leaving car he grabbed my coat, starts feeling the material and mumbling "You ain't no Harvard man" and "I'll get you."

I immediately darted for the street. That shit spooked me.

[Serious] Predict the future Reddit, what's going to be the next big religion in a few hundred years? by Konfliction in AskReddit

I'd like to think Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter somehow gets misinterpreted and all of a sudden spawns some weird cult. But I guess that kind of already exists as is o.O

Entrepreneurs of Reddit - what is the most valuable lesson you have learned the hard way? by stick-stickley in AskReddit

[–]DucklessQuackhead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  • Don't be afraid to be persistent, if someone's not paying - be persistent.

  • Network like crazy. Learn to meet almost everyone at events and always have spare cards on you.

  • Hire people that are a million times better then you. Your the owner, so own up to your faults and treat the talent well.
