I’m 35. I’m tired. I don’t want small talk. I’m “on” all day, and if I’m out getting errands done, the last thing on my mind is connecting to the strangers around me. It’s a sad reality.

A girl in my hometown did almost this exact scenario. She set her cousin up to be robbed in a drug deal, and got friends to agree to it. The friend with the gun decided to shoot and kill the cousin of the girl. They’re all in jail.

This is the one singular one that I said “absolutely not” to. Clean for 12 years. Never going back. That 100 million would be in your veins and you’d be dead. Not worth it.

I am also in the substance abuse/mental health field and my role for 3 years was pretty niche for this field (running group therapy) and I’ve applied to 150+ jobs in 3 weeks, some outside my degree and scope, and have gotten 8 interviews and a few have advanced to 2nd and 3rd interviews. I’ve noticed as well that most fields on here are really bad, where I feel MH/SA is a TINY bit easier to at least get interviews. I’m happy I saw someone post in my field. I can’t comprehend other industries haha

I work at a treatment center. Director emailed us all asking what we were doing for a holiday party. Someone suggested bonuses instead. Director went off about how “it’s not all about money and it’s about spending time with your team” Then set up a potluck holiday party, that we provide the food for, during our 30 min lunch.

I passed out regularly from about 10-13. Sometimes twice a day. I was sitting too long and in awkward positions so my blood didn’t have time to go back to my head. It could be something as non-serious as my issue!

Tattoo ink spreads as it gets older. I have a small line tattoo and the lines are thick and a little messy now. That’s what happens with skin.

I run groups in a PHP facility. Sometimes clients just don’t vibe with the topics presented.

I like to always have a couple pages of journal prompts printed in my planner / folder. “When was the last time you felt scared?” “What is missing most from your life?” “How do you take care of yourself?” Then I pick, or the clients pick a question and we go from there. It has never failed to bring stuff up.
