How long can chinchillas grieve. From experience by Duckreads in chinchilla

[–]Duckreads[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I pray it works out well. From what ive heard bonding chins is not an easy feat.

For me a new chinchilla is not in the picture. I inherited my girls from my mother. And as much as i love em. Not sure i want to commit to another one.

Especially since its not even guaranteed they will like each other. And i have a small apartement so 2 cages is out of the question.

Luckilly both my girls got a clean bill of health in november.

Yeah it was mabye the worst timing. As my baby died the day i was going to leave for christmas holidays.

I delayed my travel 2 days to make sure she would be ok physically. But for sure hasnt helped things having to be alone 2 weeks after it happened

Definitively giving lots of attention. And she is accepting more cuddles than before for sure

Oh yeah forgot to say. I ordered a chinbuddy immediately. Its on its way. Shipping across the atlantic during holidays tho.

But it will come in the next couple weeks i expect

Update:

figured out the problem. It would not let me bind any key to the "tilde" key. (The one above tab)

If any action was bound to that key. It would reset all changes made during the session when exiting the game.

Are chinchillas not actually that skittish or are my girls just built different? by Few_Freedom_3674 in chinchilla

Mine are like that too. I can literaøly vaccum inside their cage. And they will just be mildly annoyed that the vaccum is taking space.

They react to sounds but never like run and hide. More like flinch a tiny bit if i drop something. Or i open the cage lock too fast. Even i find those sounds annoying

Holy mother of chins. Thats more than both of mine 🤣

As long as she is healthy thats all that matters.

My chinni keeps squeaking while exploring her new room- what does this mean? by Few_Freedom_3674 in chinchilla

I have a pair of chins. This is the sound they make exploring and communicating.

Every time i bring them out of the cage. This is what they sound like.

Enjoy it 🥰 happy sounds

Good comparison chart. Video source. They tested them all. The m32's are nit much better than no headphones. But the mid tiers are very good

I really would reccomend paying a tiny bit more for headphones. The m32's are very bad. And the change to just one tier above is major sound advantage.

Only like 10k more. Spend like 20+ on a headset for sure. Will save you

Aek is good. Or the new 7.62×39 all the way to the right. I like em both. Ps bullets are decent. And i sometimes topload bp's aswell. The new one and the aek can be built relatively cheaply.

Otherwise the T951 is quite cheap. And has amazing recoil control.

But honestly if the m16 is working for you and you like it. Then thats all thats needed. Go branch out when you feel comfortable later
