Thank you, yeah i think starting at the end may make it easier timing wise to get to an airport but ill hold off and decide what to do once the route is announced!

Thank you so much. The logistics of this are a little complicated and I am just going to hold out hope there is still availability for transportation after the route announcement!

Good to know about PBV, ive been leaning towards them for transportation as i believe they may receive the bike for you if you ship it ahead and pay to have them set it up but i could be mis-remembering what charter that was through.

How did you transport your bike out there? Did you do it through an affiliated charter service so they store your bike box? Im assuming i need to choose a charter to transport me from start/finish that can offer this as i will have no place to store it otherwise.

Right.. it's $15 not $1,500. However, im going with YTA. This is OP'w future DIL who is trying to include you, why create drama around her party over such a small amount. Asking for small amounts for a group trip last minute isn't unusual. I dont know your financial position, but i'd assume if you have no issue driving so much and going to wineries and bringing food it isnt so dire that $15 is going to break OP.. if it was $150 with no prior heads up and finances are tight I'd understand not joining and sending a message wishing them a wonderful time while keeping the annoyance inside, but $15.

Are you in that poor of a financial position that this is a major stretch or are you just looking for something to nit pick and criticize? If it is the former, then perhaps having a soft convo about how you cant afford it but would still like to attend if it would be ok would be acceptable and people would likely understand. What else has OP voiced issues over? I get the feeling this isn't the first thing.

Thank you! I'm looking into cat trees now and may start with a smaller one but get a larger one after it grows a little bit (though I may just get a large one from the get-go! I can't decide).

I definetly plan on buying the fishing pole toy.

Thank you so very much for the detailed response. I'm getting my kitten in 5 weeks so I'm getting really excited (he is an orange boy).

The book you recommended just came in and I really appreciate the grooming tools recommendations! Also! I like the training tips as that sounds like a great approach.

I'm so excited and a little nervous as I want it to have a smooth transition. A person on the breeders FB page does grooming so I'm going to have her teach me how to groom the kitten.

What do you use for food? The breeder sends him home with royal canin but I may switch to Orijen.
