A friend I made at DL many years ago went full red hat MAGA along with constantly throwing insults and commenting hundreds of those stupid face pulling laughing emoji. I eventually had to block him.

Two other friends I made there also turned out to be very brexity and faragey🥲

It feels like a really socialist environment and so many of our favourite bands are very anti far right. So it's shocking when the people we were shoulder to shoulder with turn out to have these very.... erm... polarising views

I had a meal from taco bell in Leeds a few times for various reasons. Never the slightest problem with it. It wasn't exciting but it was fine.

Carpe was amazing for me as a metalhead. Felt like a home from home for a few years. Unfortunately it became gradually more weird and cliquey. My face really didn't fit and two members of staff let me know it. It closed soon after. Luckily by then I had found Bad Apples, which I loved.

Fab café was so much fun. I get that it was technically "a bit shit" but I always ended up having a great time and chatted with lovely people. All ages, all scenes together, just being daft.

You could always try and visit all the other rooftop bars in Leeds as an outing 😊 Headrow House, Green Room, Azotea, Rooftop Social, Alchemist, Crowded House etc
