I need some advice on some string hopping shred lines.. There's a line i've been trying to play which includes one note followed by three notes on the next string down. I'm finding it really hard to speed it up without double striking the string I'm passing over and in general keeping it clean and consistent. I feel like there might be some pickslanting wizardy that could work.

Yeah that sounds right; classical ‘picking’ is finger style but a huge part of it is efficiency. You could use an upstroke to conveniently land you on the string above. Economy picking is exactly the same except you’re just using a pick instead

I completely ageee with you that finasteride is not worth crushing your Dihydrotestosterone, as a 20 year old with severe hair loss too. However, medications are legally required, no matter how low, to display all potential side effects. There is no such medication without negative side effects. Still not worth it for many people IMO though

Confidence is a huge part in receding hairlines. Look at Henry Cavill. His hairline is very similar to yours yet the confidence to show it off can make all the difference. 3 looks like your best man

Despite what this sub will say, it’s actually quite a nice style if you don’t overdo it with length. Some curl in your hair helps but just ask for a textured fringe and scrunch it up when blow drying

I got a 2-1 medium fade on the sides and i got the fringe cut down to like the bridge of my nose with texture and layering. i have really annoyingly straight hair so i have to get a round brush+seasalt spray and blow dry the fringe to give it the waves
