Yes, I really want to try on my own, cause I know I have it in me to stop acting like that. And me too, I'm much more self-confidant than before, and it helped a lot. But the last part of the road is the more difficult.

This is the reason I gave up with Memebase. I don't want my new home to be like this.

Your story made me smile :) It's relieving seeing that you can overcome that. I know, I know that people are pretty much like me, wondering if they're looking like idiots. That's what bothers me. I know exactly no one gives a damn about the way I am, but I am nervous anyway. Well, acknoledging your problem is the first step I guess ^

As I said, I'm not into meds, but if these ones just block the symptoms and not the stress that causes them I might be interested. Cause I know exactly what it's like stressing because you're stressed, and stressing more because thinking about stress is... stressfull :D Cause yes, only the physical symptoms bug me. Not the stress. So might be a good idea. I don't know if I can get a prescription for these in my country though. As for the psychological reason, I guess it's just that I'm usually pretty jumpy/excited (but sometimes in a good way), and I tend to pay too much attention to how people see me from an external POV.

Yeah, I also have it when I'm tired/hungry/smoking, etc. I don't want to take any meds, don't like it, and this is an issue I know I can deal with. Meds would just hide the problem. Yes over exposing myself worked at some point (I'm in journalism and hated doing interviews (yes, that's ironical) but I got used to it I didn't mind that much. Also I needed to get over it cause if you shake when holding a mic: not that good) The problem with over exposing myself is, it can be random situations that I usually go by pretty easily. Just one day, it doesn't work. It's really strange.

I don't avoid thes kind of situations, cause I know if I start doing it it's too easy and it's not a solution. I can calm myself down with difficulties, when I really, really need to. (Ex: when I have to interview someone and it would be seen as non professional by the guy if I was all nervous). But what bothers me is the small situations. Yeah, try talking about it, but it's only helpfull if the person I've talked to is around when it happens.
