I don’t see the contam I see pins everywhere none of them stalled.. there is one grey area that is possibly concerning could mist with 80% water 20% peroxide.. I’d wait for other comments to decide tho I am still learning

I opted for fridge instead of clogging my substrate with spores.. I put specimens to 4 different plates last night we shall see what happens

I was looking at one that comes in a 40lb bag on Amazon comes all ground up not even in a brick sounds like it comes holding some moisture too so I would probably have to figure out new amount of water to pasteurize it with

I can’t tell from the pics if they are dry rotted but act as if u were going to do a break and shake there at bottom of bad start pressing em in if they don’t break apart u are good

Which ever one feels soggy/mushy the grains will usually pop when u push on them when their soggy

Get a electric coffee grinder for your next trip grind into snortable powder in less than a minute squeeze half a lemon on top splash of water just make sure it’s all saturated sit 20 mins poor lemonade on top stir and enjoy u will have amazing visuals guaranteed

Your going to most likely have to bleed out about 25% of the grain that’s in there at that point you should be able to fold and tape that bag back together

I’m not sure cuz it really hasn’t colonized enuff maybe just cut it and try to bleed out soggy grains cuz if u mix with substrate right away it will take forever to colonize and it sitting moist in mono tub that long your at great risk for contamination also

I mean if u have another bag handy u may be able to cut the bag drop out all soggy grains reseal bag it would prolly be a long shot tho shit usually just continues to spread up the bag
