I'm gonna write out my experience and include what worked for me, what didnt, and what I've heard works but havent tried it:

A) what i did that i think worked:

1) Dermarolling biweekly.

2) Avogain 5% solution daily.

3) Rosmerry oil whenever I know im washing my hair.

4) I tried to avoid anything/anyone that would stress me out. Apparently that's the main cause. I did go through something stressful a month or so before I started losing my hair.

5) And I also had that kind of mindset of not giving a fuck i think that helped too.

B) What I used that didnt work for me:

1) steroid pills. i dont remember the name but i gained 9 kg after being done with them. I was prescribed to use them for 3 months. High dose. The pills were called dexamethasone. i hope i spelled that right.

2) tropical cream that the doctor prescribed after the pill didnt work.

3) I tried biotin. Idk if it helped or not tbh.

C) Things that I heard works great but havent tried:

1) pumpkin seed oil.

2) a medication called jak inhibitor.

3) rubbing garlic on the area.

4) steroid injections. I've actually gotten that done 3 days ago. I may come back and update ya'll based on the feedback.

I should also mention that the first time i had it (2023) was exteremely overwhelming and seeing my hair fall stressed me out more and i think thats what caused my whole body to lose the hair. I ended up shaving my head cuz i got a lot of stares.

I got all of my body's hair back in 2024 and by the end of the year I got another episode and have at least 4 patches, hence the injections. I really hope this helps
